To further enhance that relationship, we limit the total number of insurers represented but reward them with exceptionally large books of business making Loring & Company an important business partner. Finally, the insurers we recommend have well staffed, professional claims departments to provide the vital service when most needed quickly and efficiently.

Complex commercial exposures with either severe hazards or unique exposures to loss often require the use of specialty insurers. We maintain several relationships with specialty markets referred to as "wholesale insurance houses" or "excess and surplus lines brokers". When dealing with these specialists, we make certain their corporate office has a Security Committee to carefully analyze the financial position of every underwriting company to be certain they meet strict standards. Lloyds of London is an example of this type of specialty market.

To legally transact business with these various markets, Loring & Company holds licenses as agents, brokers, consultants, and excess and surplus lines dealers.
